Thrift Share Monday {isn't today Tuesday?}

Recently I had the pleasure of stumbling upon this super thrifting/entrepreneurial blog cleverly named Apron Thrift Girl.  Selena Cate, author of ATG, shares her candid approach to thrifting for a living, family, and life.  I share Selena's passion for thrifting and have been inspired to join in her Thrift Share Monday project.

Check out some of the goodies I found garage saling this weekend {including my thrift hop finds today}!

.Free! My Favorite Price. Since these books were marked up, grungy, torn, and worn; I've rescued some really great illustrations and maps you can find here. I should be able to make some great ephemera bundles for myself and the store.

.another little black book to add to my collection. I'm collecting these for color themed home decor bundles.

.wow. over 100 full page black and white photographs. unbelievable find. I paid full asking price, but you wouldn't believe the deal I got with this one.

 .an atlas from 1940, a law book in nearly pristine condition from 1908, & a book named "practical bookkeeping" that may not have great value as a whole, but includes some amazing, classic handwriting ephemera.

.score! I've been on the hunt for 6 great $5 chairs. I fully expect to find 'project' chairs, but these have great paint jobs and will only need new fabric. I'm super stoked to replace some of the brown metal folding chairs that we've been using temporarily.

.a big boy motorcycle for Roman. $10. what a great deal. I'll sell his radio flyer or give it as a birthday gift to a family member to make up for the splurge.

.and of course chapter books and dress-up scarves for Emma. I actually got these in at a church rummage sale towards the end of the day. their selling tactic was "fill a walmart bag for a dollar". I filled it with these, 3 baseball caps, 1 shirt and some tupperware. thank you, garage saling Gods.
